Airplane model on the Spitzbühlon the Alpe di Siusi

The Spitzbühl is a hill summit situated between expensive alpine pastures and steep rock walls on the Alpe di Siusi. This hill is a very popular destination for excursions and it is known for its amazing view and for its excellent thermal lift. Paragliders, hang gliders an aircraft flyers are using this special place as a launch pad to get a perfect start.

The position of our hotel is perfect as a starting point to get to the Spitzbühl. Because the road which leads to the hill is closed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and our guests get a driving permission to reach the parking of the Spitzbühl. Afterwards you can attain to the Spitzbühl hut with the chairlift, where you can taste real South Tyrolean delicacies and enjoy the marvelous perspective.

An excursion to the Spitzbühl pays in any case, also if you aren’t passionate flyers. Already the unforgettable view of the Scilliar and the valley basins of Bolzano is worth to cope with the difficult access.
